The Plan!
There is a plan and the plan is fine with me!
- I get the bone treatment tomorrow right here at the VU hospital. This is an infusion with chemicals that allow the Calcium in my blood to form new bone.
- In the meantime, I will be doing physical therapy to be able to manage at home.
- Also, various aids are being arranged for my home-coming.
- Friday 9 April, embolization of the tumor of S1 at the VU hospital. Follow-up with chemo (sorafenib).
- Go home after recuperation.
- Start rehab.
- Have the iodine treatment.
- If the embolization does not work I will be operated on to stablize my tailbone in order to reduce the pain.
- If the embolization does work...we will see if we still need to stablize.
- The heat therapy is off the plan for now, but still remains an option for the future.
I am satisfied!

Zoals ik al zei: Mijn Engels is slecht, maar ik denk dat het gunstig is wat ik hier lees.
Weet je al wanneer je naar huis mag om te herstellen?

Ik weet er natuurlijk veel te weinig vanaf maar het klinkt als een goed plan en het belangrijkste is dat er doorgevochten wordt. Van hieruit kan ik niet meer dan je in m'n gedachten houden, positieve vibes naar je sturen en voor je bidden en dat doe ik dus voortdurend! Grote Brassa, Tosca
